What is your biggest current challenge at work?

What keeps you up at night?
We are a professional services provider, so the futures and overall success of our clients are constant concerns. The question that constantly runs through my head is: "Are we providing our clients with the best mix of services to help them grow and expand their businesses?"
What project is your company most proud of?
One project that stands out to me was when we worked with a growing construction company. They needed assistance with improving their internal controls over their financial reporting system and training their personnel. We were able to help the owners focus on the strategic growth and expansion of their business by relying more on the accuracy of their financial information to make decisions.
How does your ABC membership help your company?
Over the years, we have worked with a number of ABC members, and our firm is a member in other states where we operate. The ABC members with whom we work have recommended we join because of the valuable resources available to them and the relationships they have developed through membership. I look forward to meeting other members and serving as a resource to them through our thought leadership and events.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I've wanted to be an accountant since I was young. I even asked for a calculator for Christmas one year when I was a kid! I considered physics and engineering in high school, but I was never as interested in the topics as accounting.

I look forward to connecting with team members and clients. I enjoy getting to know people, learning about their businesses and serving as a resource to them.
Tell us something no one in the industry knows about you.
