What is the biggest misconception about the industry?
One of the biggest misconceptions about Banking is
that it’s a boring, numbers-focused industry. While
numbers do play a critical role in the daily
operations at the Bank, the JMB team takes a
relationship-centered approach to banking that puts
our clients, their businesses, and their growth first.
Our team's ability to form lasting partnerships and

anything but boring as we get to celebrate, grow,
and succeed together with our clients.
What project is your company most proud
of?
The Bank is equally proud of every success story
from each of our clients. To us, a small business
securing funding to open, a contractor securing their
next major job, a first-time homeowner paying off
their mortgage, and a nonprofit organization
cruising past their fundraising goals are all worth
pride and celebration.
How does your ABC membership help your
company?
Our ABC membership helps us because we’ll be
placed in a central position to help our other ABC
members. The Bank has a variety of creative and
effective financing solutions for builders and
contractors and our shared membership in the ABC
of Metro Washington will better allow us to connect
with them, provide for them, and deliver them the
financial solutions they need.
