Montgomery County Legislative Committee
The Montgomery County Legislative Committee reviews legislation introduced to determine what impact, if any, it has on ABC members and the construction industry. Communicates the position of the Chapter on these proposals to the members of the County Council and lobby’s accordingly. Works to establish and enhance relationships with the County Executive, the Executive’s staff, department and agency heads, members of the County Council and their staff.

Prince George's County Legislative Committee
Prince George’s County Legislative Committee reviews legislation introduced to determine what impact, if any, it has on ABC members and the construction industry. Communicates the position of the Chapter on these proposals to the members of the County Council and lobby’s accordingly. Works to establish and enhance relationships with the County Executive, the Executive’s staff, department and agency heads, members of the County Council and their staff.
 

DC Legislative Committee
The DC Legislative Committee reviews legislation introduced to determine what impact, if any, it has on ABC members and the construction industry. Communicates the position of the Chapter on these proposals to the members of the County Council and lobbies accordingly. Works to establish and enhance relationships with the Mayor, the Mayor’s staff, department and agency heads, members of the City Council and their staff.

Maryland Joint Legislative Committee
The Maryland Joint Legislative Committee reviews legislation introduced during the 90-day session of the Maryland General Assembly to determine what impact, if any, it has on ABC members and the construction industry. Communicates the position of the Committee to the appropriate General Assembly Committee and lobby’s accordingly. Works to establish and enhance relationships with the Governor, the Governor’s staff, department and agency heads, members of the General Assembly and their staff. The Joint Legislative Committee enables all four Maryland ABC Chapters to have one voice in Annapolis.
