3D Envirologics LLC

What is the biggest misconception about the industry?
The asbestos abatement industry has long struggled with poor practices—both in how work is performed and how employees are treated. Too often, firms prioritize profit over people, leading to high turnover and unsafe conditions.

3D Envirologics LLC began as a consulting firm and deliberately avoided becoming “just another” abatement company. We saw the flaws in the traditional model and set out to do things differently. At 3D Enviro, we value every single employee, and our ability to retain workers reflects that commitment.

The old way of doing asbestos abatement—profit-driven and careless—is giving way to a new standard. 3D Enviro represents that shift: dynamic, employee-focused, and responsive to the times.

What is your biggest current challenge at work?
Stability within the federal government and its contracting processes has been our biggest current challenge. This year has brought an unprecedented level of uncertainty—unlike anything I’ve seen in my 15 years of running a business. Navigating those unknowns has required adaptability, resilience, and a strong focus on long-term stability for both our clients and our team.

What keeps you up at night?
What keeps me up at night is ensuring that our workforce stays busy and supported. Unlike many firms that rely on a transient workforce, we see our team as family. Their stability and well-being are always top of mind, and I feel a deep responsibility to provide consistent opportunities for them.

What project is your company most proud of?
Our company is most proud of its long-standing commitment to protecting both people and the environment. For more than 25 years, we’ve kept hazardous materials out of the environment while advancing environmental awareness and consistently delivering safe, high-quality work. Our approach is thorough, honest, and always centered on safety.

While we’ve completed many successful projects, one that stands out is the hazardous material remediation and abatement in the E Wing of Building 10 on the National Institutes of Health campus. Building 10 is one of the largest biomedical research hospitals in the United States, and this particular wing is among its biggest. The project spanned more than six years and presented immense challenges, but our team rose to the occasion and delivered exceptional results. It remains a defining example of the scale, expertise, and care we bring to our work.

How does your ABC membership help your company?
Our ABC membership has been incredibly valuable in helping us build meaningful connections and expand our professional network. We’ve truly enjoyed getting to know so many people through ABC, and those relationships have opened doors for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and growth within our industry.
