NOTE: As a participant volunteer, each individual must fundraise/sponsor a minimum of $250 to help cover the costs of materials and supplies for Rebuilding Together's projects. Rebuilding Together provides information on how to set up a peer-to-peer fundraiser page.
About the Project: This is a volunteer project hosted by the ABC of Metro Washington Women Building Washington Committee in partnership with Rebuilding Together Montgomery County, a local nonprofit that provides free critical home repairs to low-income homeowners and community nonprofits throughout Montgomery County. She Builds brings together women in the construction community to support other women in need.
The She Builds project on May 19, 2023 will be repairing and revitalizing New Leaf Shelter, a nonprofit that provides shelter and post-shelter support for homeless individuals.
Once registered, you will be sent a separate email within a few days with a link to Rebuilding Together's website to complete the following:
- Volunteer Fundraiser page: Volunteers are encouraged to fundraise a minimum of $250. Corporate Sponsor packages also available.
- Volunteer Agreement
- Volunteer Wellness Policy
- Sign up for time
