Basic Spanish Communication for Construction (4-Day Course)

Students will learn to communicate with Spanish speaking individuals via a variety of methods including power point presentations, repetition of vocabulary, practice conversations, application of grammar, and speaking practices with the instructor.
Class curriculum will cover:
- Basic conversational communication in Spanish
- Trade specific vocabulary
- Counting and identifying numbers
- Spelling
- Pronunciation
- Listening comprehension
- Reading basic information in the language
A light breakfast is included.

About the Instructor:
Dr. Emily Mello has worked as a Spanish Teacher for 27 years, teaching all levels of Spanish, from first year beginning Spanish to Advanced Placement college level Spanish. She taught in a wide range of schools throughout Baltimore County before transferring to another system. She studied Spanish for 10 years prior to earning her B.A. in Spanish and recently received the prestigious Global Seal of Biliteracy.
Dr. Mello enjoys working with students of all ages to help them gain fluency in the language.
