What is the biggest misconception about the industry?
The biggest misconception about construction is that it is often considered in the category of unskilled labor – work that doesn’t require any special training or knowledge. But that is far from the truth! In reality most people in construction are craft professionals--they’re performing detailed, specialized work that requires a high level of talent.
What is your biggest current challenge at work?
Finding more great people to provide the best customer service.
What keeps you up at night?
Taking care of employees and customers.
What project is your company most proud of?
Thankfully, there are so many. Every customer's project makes our team proud.

Relationships and serving the community is important to 84 Lumber and ABC, it's a great partnership.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be everything. Curiosity!
