This outing was to be held at Woodmont Country Club in Montgomery County, Maryland on August 31. The county’s strict regulations regarding COVID-19 have limited the club’s ability to provide an event that will accommodate our format and meet your expectations.

As a result, we have decided to move the outing to Whiskey Creek Golf Course, Ijamsville, MD (Frederick County).  In order to accommodate our members and because Whiskey Creek only has one course, we have decided to have two outings on August 31 and October 16, 2020.

We are following all CDC and local guidelines.

Whiskey Creek has put the following safety protocols into effect:   

  • Masks are required indoors unless seated at a table to dine. 
  • Players are encouraged to social distance when possible. 
  • Hand sanitizer will be distributed to all players.
  • Two carts per foursome will be provided. If you have concerns about riding with another golfer, we recommend bringing a pushcart or a light bag and walking the course.  Golf bags can be loaded on a cart and you can walk along if you prefer.
  • Golf carts will be cleaned and disinfected after each round.
  • Food and drink will be served both indoors and outdoors.  Beverage carts will be operating. 
  • Bunker rakes and ball washers have been removed from the course.
  • All flagsticks are to remain in place during play.

In order to keep yourself and everyone safe, please stay home if you are not feeling well.
