Matt Helminiak teaches undergraduate business classes at Loyola University Maryland. He is also the president of Culture Diagnostics, a management consulting firm specializing in organizational culture. From 2017 to 2023, Matt was the Maryland Commissioner of Labor & Industry, responsible for enforcing Maryland’s labor and employment laws, the Maryland Occupational Safety & Health unit (MOSH), the safety inspections of elevators, boilers, railroads and amusement rides, and Maryland’s building codes.
