STEP Lunch & Learn

Join ABC of Metro Washington's Safety Task Force as they walk you through the 2022 STEP application and the importance of committing to safety. In this workshop, you will learn more about the STEP program and how to complete the application.

STEP is ABC's safety management system that dramatically improves safety performance among participants. STEP participants are up to 645% safer than the industry average.

Participating ABC member firms measure their safety process and policies through a detailed, yet simple questionnaire with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that reduce jobsite incidents. The information contained in each STEP application is viewed only by ABC staff and is kept strictly confidential.

Member contractors and suppliers are encouraged to get recognized for their commitment to safety thru participating in STEP each year.
