Construction 101: Basics for the Non-Construction Professional

Associated Builders and Contractors of Metro Washington and SMPS DC have teamed up to bring you Construction 101: Basics for the Non-Construction Professional program. Our panel of building experts will provide a high-level introduction to the construction industry, tailored to what non-construction professionals need to know. Attendees will leave the class with a basic understanding of the construction process, delivery types, service provider roles, and key elements of a building. This course will strengthen your knowledge base of the AEC industry, helping you to become a better marketer.

What you’ll learn:

This program is designed for professionals with a non-construction background. This may include professionals in architecture/engineering, marketing, accounting, HR, communications, graphic design, and/or secondary service providers.
