Marcus Jackson Joins ABC of Metro Washington as Director of Government Affairs
Experience in construction industry and government affairs will benefit members and community.
Beltsville, MD (June 18, 2020)--Associated Builders and Contractors of Metro Washington is pleased to announce Marcus Jackson as the Director of Government Affairs. Jackson previously served as the Vice President of Government Affairs with the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA) and brings extensive experience working in federal and Maryland local governments.
While at MBIA, Mr. Jackson was responsible for legislative and regulatory issues that impacted the homebuilding industry in Washington, DC, Calvert, Charles, Prince George’s and St. Mary’s Counties in Maryland. At ABC of Metro Washington, he will lead the advocacy and outreach for members at the state and local levels of government regarding legislation and regulatory issues that impact the merit construction industry.
Jackson received his B.A. in Political Science from Southern University and A&M College.
