The Chapter's DC Legislative Committee has joined with other members of the DC Business Coalition to address problematic issues with Bill 20-0671 the Wage Theft Prevention Act of 2014" which is slated to take effect at the end of February after it completes its mandatory Congressional review.  The legislation which was passed in the city council by a vote of 12 - 0 in July of 2014 and was signed by Mayor Vincent Gray would  subject DC Employers to New Notice Requirements and an Amended Penalty and Adjudication Structure.  For more information about the legislation, please contact Eric J.
