What is your biggest current challenge at work?

Being patient through growth. With the instantaneous world we are living in, it is easy to desire results overnight. I have to continually remind myself that success comes from small advantages carried out day by day, not some large secret formula.

What keeps you up at night?

Knowing that I am responsible for keeping roofs over the head and food in the mouths of our employees and their families.

What project is your company most proud of?

Kennedy Center Terrace Theater Renovation. The logistics of this project were very complex. Between the staging of our material, getting material to where it needed to be on the site and the amount of trades working in such a confined area made it a challenging, yet rewarding job.

How does your ABC membership help your company?

The networking events are a great way to meet new customers and the informative seminars are excellent learning opportunities for all employees within our company.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Professional motocross/supercross racer. My brother and I raced competitively year-round all across the country as amateurs.

What do you look forward to each day?

Progress.

What do you do for fun?

Mountain Bike, Shoot Sporting Clays, Sail, Travel

What business/career advice do you wish you had when you began?

Network. Get involved.

What book are you currently reading?

Principles by Ray Dalio

What was your first job?

Brick Mason Labor
