Careers in Construction Month

Governor Hogan Proclaims October 2017 “Careers in Construction” Month.

Governor Hogan’s proclamation acknowledges that the construction industry is one of the nation’s largest industries, employing more than five million individuals. However, the industry will need 1.5 million new craft professionals by the year 2019. The proclamation serves to increase public awareness and appreciation of the entire construction workforce and promotes the limitless career opportunities within the industry.
