- Two Projects in the National Capital Area

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition came to the metro Washington area to rebuild a home in Prince George's County for the Tripp family and to rebuild a community center in northeast DC for The Fishing School, a nationally-recognized youth development organization that provides children and families with academic and parental support.  The builds took place Saturday, August 22, 2009, through Friday, August 28, 2009.  For more information about the show, building projects, family or community center, visit the project's website and the show's website.
